Tire Blowout / Flat Tire

In the event that a driver has a tire blowout (flat tire) while in motion, please follow the simple steps below:

  • Hold the steering wheel tight, and make sure NOT to make sudden, severe, turns of the steering wheel.
  • Slow down gradually by taking your foot off the gas pedal and use the brakes lightly.
  • Do not stop on the road if at all possible. Pull off the road in a safe place.
  • Activate your 4-way hazard lights and use your cell phone to call for assistance.

Driving on a blown-out (flat tire) can cause extensive damage to your vehicle and is extremely dangerous to you and other drivers.
